Gentle farmer Arthur Hoggett wins a piglet Babe at a county fair. Narrowly escaping his fate as Christmas dinner, Babe bonds with motherly border collie Fly and discovers that he too can herd sheep. But will the other animals accept him?

The film that made an entire generation uncomfortable at the dinner table. A pig raised for slaughter discovers he can herd sheep - and in doing so, asserts his worth beyond his assigned purpose. Won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects and was nominated for Best Picture.
The famous line "That'll do, pig" entered the cultural lexicon. James Cromwell, who played Farmer Hoggett, became vegan after making the film and has been arrested multiple times at animal rights protests since.
